WHO WE ARE

We and our partners are professionals with many years of experience in the field of marina and port management.

We are also yachtsmen and thus we fully understand and embrace the user’s perspective.

Our aim is to provide high quality consulting services in the marina business planning and operations.

THE FOUNDER - DIMITRIS BAMPAKOS

The founder of “Fair Winds Sailing Greece” is Dimitris Bampakos, a former Captain of the Greek Navy and an American Sailing Association Instructor Evaluator with more than 100,000 logged miles at sea. 

During his career he has managed large scale maritime projects and he has been posted in upper managerial positions in the marina and port industry. 

He holds an MSc in Electronic Systems Engineering from Cranfield University, UK and he is a certified Project Management Professional by George Washington University, USA.
